FRIDAY NIGHT INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY |
Our “Friday Night Introduction to Archery” program is one of the more popular offerings at Wa-Xo-Be Archers. The program is for the public and absolutely no equipment or prior archery experience is required. In fact, it is intended for the enjoyment of the public and the “archery curious”. |
The “Friday Night…” shoots are held from 7-9pm. The cost is $10 for ages 14 and above and $5 for ages 14 and below and all equipment is provided by the club, free of charge. There are usually 20-30 new archers every Friday night, each with a different level of experience and ages ranging from 5 years to “none of your business.” |
First time participants are guided through our range and archery safety procedures then are assigned to a member of our Wa-Xo-Be Instructor Staff who offer quality basic archery instruction in a safe, fun and friendly environment. The entire evening is supervised by a senior staff member and most of our certified instructors have competed in state and national competitions. One of our Friday night regulars is Pierre Berthelon (archery legend and three time world record holder). |
Reservations or pre-registration are not required, so come on down and spend a fun, challenging – maybe even thrilling evening learning a modern spin on an ancient sport. You’ll be amazed at just how much fun you may have. |
